The first look teaser of Suriya's hi-voltage action flick Singam 2, directed by Hari, has created a rage on the social networking site. Within a single day, the teaser has already received 667,111 views on Youtube. The film stars Anushka, Hansika and Anjali (special song) Vivek, Vijayakumar, Radha Ravi, Nasser, Rahman and Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi in important roles. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director, Priyan handles the camera, while editing is taken care of by V.T. Vijayan. Art is by Kadhir, and lyricists Na. Muthukumar, Viveka and Madhan Karky is penning the songs. Singam 2 is produced by Lakshmanan of Prince Pictures. The film will reportedly hit screens on June 14. Scroll down for the teaser!

The music of Selvaraghavan's A much awaitedIrandam Ulagam will be launched July 7. Harris Jayaraj is the music director. Irandam Ulagam, which is touted to be a romantic drama film, is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and will release simultaneously in Telugu as Brindavanamlo Nandakumarudu. Arya and Anushka play the lead roles in this flick. Director Selvaraghavan has said in many interviews that Irandaam Ulagam has been the toughest script to be converted on celluloid and is the only script he personally wants to see on screen, as many people suggested him to write it as a novel. Dhanush is likely to release the first copy of the audio.

Arya-Nayantara starrer Raja Rani is creating a stir across the country. Even Bollywood critics and celebs are tweeting about the film. So what is the story of Raja Rani... The film revolves around the life of a newly married couple Raja (Arya) and Rani (Nayantara), who are entire different from each other. Then there is Raja's ex-girlfriend (Nazriya Nazim), a bubbly IT professional and ofcourse Jai, who will reportedly appear as Rani's lover.

It is heard that the ambitious director will be teaming up with ten other young directors from across the country for this experimental film. The film is reportedly about an aspiring filmmaker and his relationship with 10 women. Each part will be shot by independent filmmakers, which includes Sudhish Kamath, Suparn Verma, Abhinav Shiv Tiwari, Anu Menon, Hemant Gaba, Raja Sen, Rajshree Ojha, Sandeep Mohan, Pratim D. Gupta, and Thiagarajan Kumararaja himself.

The teaser of Karthi's much-awaited Biriyani, directed by Venkat Prabhu, is likely to be released on his birthday (May 25). Having Karthi and Hansika in the lead, the movie also boasts of a huge star cast! Apart from the lead actors, many others like Prasanna, Sneha, Neethu Chandra, Vaibhav Reddy, Mysskin, Ramki, Sam Anderson and Premgi Amaren! Biriyani also marks Yuvanshankar Raja's 100th movie as a composer! This Biriyani seems very tempting indeed!  The film is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green banner.

Kamal Haasan's magnum opus Vishwaroopam has completed 100 successful days in theatres. The film has reportedly grossed more that Rs 120 Crores at the boxoffice! Vishwaroopam, written, directed and co-produced by Kamal Haasan, was made on a whopping budget of 95 crores! The film also had Pooja Kumar, Andreah, Rahul Bose, Nassar and Shekar Kapur in important roles.

Prasanna has wrapped up the shooting of his comic caper Kalyana Samayal Saadham. "Finished dubbing for kalyana Saamy saadam:) something exciting to be shared abt it is coming along soon. Just within 10 days," he tweeted. The film is a hilarious comedy centered around the big fat south Indian wedding. From the makers of Achchamundu! Achchamundu!, the film is directed by Prasanna R.S. Ananth Govindan and Arun Vaidyanathan are the producers. This comedy riot has Lekha Washington as the leading lady. Vendanth-Karthick is the music director and Krishanan Vasant is the cinematographer.

Director Mysskin and Sree (who is already on cloud nine post the success of Vazhakku En 18/9) are currently shooting some hi-voltage action sequences for their upcoming flick Onaayum Aatukuttiyum. In the film, Sree plays the role of a young man caught in the crime-ridden world. While shooting for a particular a stunt scene on rope, the actor lost his balance and fell down. He was also injure badly but that couldn't stop Sree from completing the shoot. He then enacted the stunt with perfection. Great going!

Sasikumar's next flilm Kutti Pulli is ready for release and the audio launch is likely to happen on May 20.  After their successful association in Sundarapandian, Sasikumar and Lakshmi Menon come back together for Kutti Puli. Story, screenplay, dialogues and direction have been handled by Muthaiah while music has been composed by Ghibran. The film is produced by S Muruganandam of Village Theatres. The film cleared the censors with an U/A certificate and Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giants has lapped up the release rights. The team is aiming for a May 31st release.

After proving his music talent, Kolaveri boy Anirudh Ravichander is all set to try his hands on acting. His debut flick will be directed by Vignesh Shivan of Podaa Podi fame. The latest is that this rom-com is titled Naanum Rowdydan. Apart from acting, Anirudh will also composing the music for this flim. Interestingly, Anirudh has atleast undergone 17 scripts before finalising this venture. Ace director Gautham Menon's Photon Kathaas will be producing this flick.
