Shamna Kasim talks about her role in Chattakari

  Shamna Kasim, who is making a comeback to Mollywood after achieving success in southern film industries, says that she didn't have any hesitation to accept to the role in Chattakari, after many top heroins had turned down the offer.    In a recent interview with a leading newspaper, Shamna has said that she got into the skin of the character, Julie. She even had to change her mindset to suite the role. She said, "Obviously, the Anglo-Indian girl I play can't go about in salwars and saris. Initially, even I was a little hesitant about wearing frocks... so much so that I used to cover myself with a shawl when I was not in front of the camera! But then, I realised that for the audience to accept my character, the first thing I need to do is be comfortable as Julie.
