Are Your 401(k) Investments Worth Their Cost?

Do you know what your 401(k) investments are costing you? If youre like 70% of employees in a recent survey, you may be surprised to learn that youre paying anything at all. But thats about to change. Under a new Department of Labor disclosure law, 401(k) plan providers were required to provide plan sponsors with a disclosure of fees by July 1st. The sponsors are then required to pass this information on to employees by Aug 30th so expect to receive a mailing with lots of numbers and fine print sometime in the next few weeks. In fact, Fidelity already started sending them out back in April.
