Madan Puri (1915 - 13 January 1985) was an actor in Hindi and Punjabi films. Puri was born in Nawanshahr, Punjab to Nihal Puri and Ved Kaur. He had four siblings, elder brother Chaman Puri, younger brother Amrish Puri, younger brother Harish Puri and younger sister Chandrakanta Mehra. He has three sons all of whom are based in Mumbai. His grandson Vikram Puri is a well placed professional in the Financial Services industry.
